This policy describes the actual behaviour of this website — no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, and no data collection beyond what you voluntarily submit in a form.

What this site does not do
This website runs no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers. It does not set tracking cookies, does not build advertising profiles and does not sell or share personal data with advertising partners. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any equivalent service on any page of this site or its sub-sites (data, manufacturer, testing and knowledge).
What we receive when you contact us
When you submit a quote or sample request, you provide the information you type into the form — typically name, company, email, country and your product requirements. Two submission paths exist:
- Form service: when a form endpoint is configured, the form contents are forwarded through a third-party form processor (Formspree) to our sales mailbox. The processor's own privacy policy applies to that transmission.
- Direct email: when no endpoint is configured, the form opens your email client and you send the message directly to sales@guotan.com — in that case the message never touches this website's infrastructure at all.
We use the submitted information only to respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote or arrange samples. We do not add your address to marketing lists and do not transfer it to other parties except as required to fulfil your request (for example, a shipping forwarder for a sample shipment you asked for).
Server logs
This site is served by a static hosting platform (Cloudflare Pages). The platform may record standard technical logs — IP address, page requested, user agent — for security and abuse prevention, under the platform's own privacy policy. We do not import or analyse those logs ourselves.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what inquiry data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by writing to sales@guotan.com. We respond to such requests within 30 days.
Changes
If the site's behaviour changes (for example, if analytics are ever added), this policy will be updated first and the change will be disclosed on this page with a new revision date.
